Belly Dancing for the Community

Come belly dance with Maya for the free community series! Open to all people and dance skill levels and sponsored by DOVE.  This class will be rooted in bellydance fusion and will focus on finding joy in movement. Expect an encouraging atmosphere and body acceptance. Wear whatever you’re comfortable in and bring a water bottle or a snack if you like! This is not intended to be a challenging workout but you may discover some slumbering muscles as we warm up and practice classic isolations characteristic of Egyptian and American bellydance styles. Most of all, bring yourself! Looking forward to dancing with you.

About the Facilitator:  Maya Krah has toured and performed belly dancing in state, online, in Santa Fe and other New Mexico cities, as well in the debut of the Radiant Tarot series in Idaho. She has taught classes on Vashon Island.
