If you are being abused, remember: you are not alone.  It is not your fault. You deserve healthy, happy relationships.  Domestic violence can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender.  It can look different for everyone and may include emotional and/or psychological abuse, economic abuse, physical violence or sexual assault.  Abuse affects people of all income and education levels and can happen to intimate partners who are married, living together or dating.

At the Vashon DOVE Project, we serve all survivors of domestic violence.
DOVE can give you support, help you maintain safety for your family, identify goals, and help you achieve those goals.  We are in your corner.  And we know that for some members of our community, accessing help and resources can be particularly difficult.  Get in touch with us in whatever way is safest for you.  It's your first step to changing your life.
