Domestic violence can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender. It can look different for everyone and may include emotional and/or psychological abuse, economic abuse, physical violence or sexual assault. Abuse affects people of all income and education levels and can happen to intimate partners who are married, living together or dating.

If you are being abused, remember:
You are not alone.

It is not your fault.
You deserve a healthy and happy relationship.

At The Vashon DOVE Project, we serve all survivors of domestic violence. But we know that for some members of our community, accessing help and resources can be particularly difficult.

No matter your experiences or your background, DOVE is here to help.
